I looked out to see several of my friends lined up like birds on a wire in an effort to calm their nicotine addiction. So out came the iphone and this is what was recorded. Man. I bequeath being in this crowd. I'vebeen mostly consume free for a couple of years(there are those occasions when I've had acouple of adult beverages where I fall offthe wagon) and believe it or not. I stillget pangs to go out with the nicotine crowd. Even when it's freakin' freezin' with a 30mph wind I still kind of desire it - kind of. Overall it's great to see a shot like thisand I'm not in it ;-)-- We used to have a walkway outside thecafeteria in high school. That's where thesmokers were allowed to smoke at lunch time. This reminds me of that. LOL. I too used to indulge in that bad habitand not sure if you ever get rid of thecraving. Nice shot. Guest Passes let you share your photos that aren't public. I’m not a smoker though some of my best friends either are or undergo been in the past. I’m not the annoying write of non-smoker - while I would obviously prefer that no one did it. I cognise that it’s not my decision and you won’t sight me preaching to those who decide to do so. Too much cigarette smoke makes me ill and back in the days when airlines still allowed smoking on planes a kindly flight attendant called at least too long non-smoking breaks on a flight to the US. The flight was beat and they’d screwed up my ticket placing me in the smoking section. They were only able to change by reversal me to a seat that was one row in lie of the smoking divide which as I’m sure you can surmise made no difference whatsoever. I suffered. Boy did I experience. Headaches sore throat congestion and so on. I was miserable and everyone could see it hence the mandated no smoking breaks. No one was happier than I when the airlines decided that all flights would be non-smoking which couldn’t have gone over to well among the Israeli smoking public. With few exceptions current smoking regulations in Israel are barely enforced. Doctors in hospitals will light up while standing under “No smoking” signs shoppers light up in the malls. Most restaurants have yet to create separate enclosed smoking areas. The situation is indeed dire though it’s certainly better than it once was which should furnish you an idea of just how bad things were here for non-smokers at one time. Laws aside many smokers (though certainly not all) here are rather inconsiderate. People light up while riding escalators or climbing stairs requiring all those who follow in their change state to smoke. While making my way through the underground cut into at the train displace by the time I’ve reached the end. I often feel as though I’ve just smoked a cigarette given the way smokers light up as soon as they step off the train. Many of them prepare beforehand rooting around in their bags for cigarettes and popping one into their mouths before they’ve even gotten off the train. "s Smoke Free In This Paradise : Take A Caribbean Cruise With ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-02 01:08:44

Until recently. I might have bet good money on that considering it’s a pretty rare cause when one can enjoy a cocktail in a smoke-free bar nightclub or lounge - let alone in a casino where all around the world gambling and nicotine just naturally go together. But here’s the exception: A policy of “no cigarettes no cigars no ashtrays and no second-hand smoke anywhere” is at the core out of the cruise undergo aboard the MS Paradise - and it’s a policy that is unusual indeed. The US$300 million Paradise is the only totally non-smoking cruise ship in the world and upholding the integrity of this claim is a challenge taken very seriously by parent company Carnival journey Lines. Not even the construction crews in the shipyards of Helsinki were allowed to smoke when working on the vessel - and now every week its 2,052 passengers are asked to sign an agreement to abide by the rules change surface on the open decks. Traditionally journey ships undergo not had too much difficulty containing the areas where passengers can smoke. If you choose any of the mainstream American-based journey lines for example chances are you will not encounter second-hand smoke until evening in some of the clubs and at some of bars. Restaurants are generally smoke-free and cruise advocates will tell you that the ratio of non-smoking areas has been increasing with every new displace. But for those who would like to go just one go further it’s good to experience that out there cruising the Caribbean every day is a grand luxury vessel which may be four years old now but she still looks feels and smells mark new. This season passengers undergo the choice of exploring either the Eastern or the Western Caribbean on itineraries that include some of the more exotic tropical harbours desire Belize and Honduras. And for a glimpse at shipboard tone and call: imagine the atmosphere aboard Paradise to be similar to most Carnival one of cheerful attentive service - in a plentiful fantasyland. The trademark decor of this journey line is one that creates a larger-than-life playground for adults and children alike. You enter Paradise for example through an illuminated sky-high atrium surrounded by grand columns and Space Age glass-elevator pods enhanced by classical kill and mahogany fixtures. Interior designer Joe Farcus pinpoints the “grand era of ocean liners” as this vessel’s overall fantasy theme emphasizing the impact of The Queen Mary. The Normandie and the SS United.

"Smoke-friendly Resources :: RE: Egypt...a smokers paradise!!!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 14:11:09

It has always been a puzzle to me that populate in the areas of the world dominated by the Muslim faith which strictly forbids smoking.. are among the most prolific smokers in the world. Go to Iran if you want to see people who truly love their cigs!. Some years ago I was walking drink the street in Manila smoking a cigarette when a cop nabbed me and gave me a 30 minute "time out" for public smoking. A new law. They actually have benches for this purpose. You get caught smoking its a measure out. Of course being familar with the customs of the country (wife is Philippina) I slipped the cop a 100 peso note about 8-9 and went on my way. Haven't been back there for some years now but I hear the anti-smoking campaign is in full swing there as it is here.
